I was born in 1979. A lot of this rings true. I grew up seeing the technology we take for granted become part of ordinary life and it’s part of my own evolution in a sense, yet my childhood was pre-internet. And I have indeed done most things later in life due to how costly things are today, and am nowhere near as financial stable as my father in particular because it’s just not as “easy” as it once was to “get on in life”.
