I see 3 Min Read itself has now moved to the new style. What concerns me is the blogging style layout seems to be the default for every publication I've noticed that has made the change... so how is that making publications appear unique, compared to before? It's actually worse now.

And there's no header/navigation bar? So how do people get to specific types of content a publication puts out? This has made it impossible to easily explore the archive or finds things faster - again, a backwards step on what exists currently.

I was excited for these changes, but in terms of functionality it looks like Long-Form-Twitter now, so you may lose publications that ultimately treat Medium like an easier WordPress.
